As the new survival strategy game Last Train Home was officially announced, it’s time to introduce the developers behind it. For those of you who haven't heard much about Ashborne Games yet, here's a batch of fresh info!

Ashborne Games is a first-party studio rooted in Brno, Czech Republic, and belongs to the THQ Nordic family, and together we are members of the Embracer Group. Today, the studio counts 52 Ashbornians, 11 of whom are female. Although the studio is young, we have, on average, eight years of experience in game development. Some titles we have laid our hands on are Ufo, Arma, Vigor, Mafia, Shadowgun Legends, Dark Train, Comanche, and many more.

We are a friendly group of people with many different interests. There are artistically gifted people in our ranks, including actors, burlesque performers, and musicians. Some of us enjoy doing sports and sometimes play volleyball together. A lot of us have pets, and we even have the option to take our dogs to the office – which we do! Also, the whole company meets in the office every Monday and chats with a beer or lemonade in hand. And when there is an opportunity, we even have a party or a barbeque on the office terrace..

Moreover (as you may already know from our previous posts), 9 of the developers participated in the shooting of trailer(s) for Last Train Home as extras and, therefore, had a first-hand experience with what it was like to be a legionary.
